April Showers

April 29-30, 2012: This weekend, Eric & I drove to Livonia to celebrate the upcoming birth of Bono with a shower thrown for us by his Mom and Julie.  The shower was held at On the Border, where we had a great time visiting with family and some close friends, opening gifts showered on us by those wonderful people, enjoying our some yummy Mexican food and our cake (wihch was a hoot), and reading Baby Blessings that everyone had written for us.  We got some lovely gifts, including the owl lamp I wanted for the nursery, lots of toys for Bono, and much more.  We are truly blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives!  After the shower, we enjoyed some peaceful time at home, and then the next day we loaded up the van with our pup hidden somewhere inside, and headed back home.  It was a great weekend, loaded with love, gifts and blessings
