A2H 2019.32 & 2019.33: 17 Years

Right smack in the middle of A2H 2019 weeks 32 & 33 Eric and I celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary...and by celebrated I mean we went to Eric's parents house and spent the weekend with his entire family! ;P  I will get to that another time, but for now here is a look at the weeks before and after...

Happy Baby!

Wednesday, August 7:
Avery took Hazel on a "Trolly Ride"

For those of you that don't know I have a confession to make, this summer our family was overtaken by Pokemon.  Eric, Asher and even I all have been playing Pokemon Go together and secretly loving it.  Tonight, Eric took the kids to a Raid Battle to hang out with the other PokeNerds of Kenosha...

...and then they played in the sprinklers by Eric's office.

Thursday, August 8:
We left for a weekend in Michigan
Daddy made Avery a Happy Meal Crown :)

Tuesday, August 13:
We returned from Michigan and Eric finally got to open the gift I got for him.  This year the traditional gift was furniture and I took that to include furnishings, giving him a framed map of the US, including all of the National Parks, that we can all pin where we've been!  He doesn't look overly excited in the pictures, but I think he really liked it.

Saturday, August 17 & Sunday August 18:
This weekend, Eric gave me an AMAZING anniversary gift.  He took the boys camping and gave Hazel and I a little girl time at home on Saturday and Sunday.  I loved having a little me time and a little one-on-one time with by best girl, and I think the boys had a great time as well.  A win-win for all and a BIG thanks to Eric!

On Sunday while the boys braved the rain and finished up their camping outing, Hazel and I headed off to church together.

I found this dress at a local 2nd hand shop for $6.  It is probably my favorite Hazel clothing so far!  To say I LOVE IT is an understatement!!

FB Post: I didn’t need a girl to be happy, my beautiful boys already brought me more joy and happiness than I can express. This little ray of sunshine is ‘just’ the delicious cherry on top. #littlemisssunshine

On Sunday afternoon, the boys were missing their momma and wanted to play together.  Since it was a rainy day and I was still watching Hazel so that Eric could take a rest we decided to play Duplos together and built our little princess a throne! ;)

...and a garage for her car!

That night, we finished out the week with our last Big Star dinner of the year!
