Florida Vacation Day 1: Na-Night Sun

In the early evening of February 21, after our family flying adventure, we arrived in Pass-a-Grill, Florida with just enough time to say "Na-Night" to the sun.  Eric's mom greeted us at the car and after we had taken all of our luggage into our motel room we headed back outside across the street to introduce our boys to the ocean and to watch the sunset.  For both of our boys, this was their first time to the ocean which Eric and I both felt was an exciting milestone.  I'm not really sure that Asher could fully grasp the difference between the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Michigan as they are both just vast expanses of water with big beaches to him, but we were still happy to enjoy this special moment with our little guys.

Avery also got to put his little toes in.  It was REALLY cold...like Lake Michigan cold.  Pretty much immediately after I set him in the water, his whole little body started to shiver.

It may be cold, but this little dude is adorable!  :)

When the sun had gone to bed for the day, we headed to the restaurant next door for a late dinner outdoors and then headed to bed ourselves.  Day 1 of our vacation was done, but we needed to rest up for another fun day tomorrow!
