Mothers Day 2016

Dear Mommy (Tracy),

Another year has passed and Mothers Day is upon us once again.  It has been a busy year filled with fun and excitement both during our multiple family adventures (The cottage, Devils Lake and Florida to name a few) and the day to day enjoyment of being a family.  Looking over the pictures that we took over the past year, a few things are apparent.

1.  You are an amazing mommy (and wife).  You fill our lives with so much love, joy, kindness and caring that it is impossible to quantify.  You take care of us when we are sick, you cheer us up when we are sad and you fill our lives with love on a daily basis.  Thank you for being there for us.

2.  You find ways to bring excitement and adventure into our lives.  If it were not for you, we would probably spend a lot of our time just sitting at home and playing in the backyard or basement.  However, thanks to your spirit of adventure and creative mind, you find ways to encourage us to explore the world around us and enjoy even the day to day stuff.  From zoo trips, to forts, craft time, backyard snow adventures and even trips to the local park to get out of the house, you keep things interesting and prevent us from becoming homebodies.

3.  You are our family photographer.  Going through the pictures, there are not many that shave your wonderful, beautiful face in them.  Despite that, the 7000+ photos and videos from the past year are filled with your boys having a wonderful life.  All of these photos would not be possible without your creative eye.  However, what is more important is the content of these photos.  They document a year worth of an amazing, exciting, fun and love filled family life that would not be possible without you.

Thank you for everything you do for us.  For all the love, care, understanding and patience.  You are an amazing mommy and wife and you are truly the love of our lives.
