Dave and Julie worked on the Table Seating card setup....
Negin's family worked on setting up the traditional Iranian wedding spread ("sofreh aghd") where each item on the table serves as a symbol meant to bless the couple's lives together. Some of the traditional elements include: Mirrors and Candles (clarity, light and unity), Almonds & Walnuts (fertility), Eggs (fertility), Water (purity), Iranian Desserts (sweetness), Fruit (fertility and fruitful life), Bread Cheese & Herbs (healthy and prosperity), Rock Candy (sweetness and good luck), Honey (sweetness), Holy Book (faith), Coins (wealth and prosperity), Embroidered Fabric (family & tradition), Wild Rue (protection & good health), Flowers (spring & beauty) and Sugar Cones (spread the happiness of other marriages to the bride and groom).
The bride and groom worked on pretty much everything that morning in addition to running through the final touches and schedules of the day ahead.
It took the work of almost everyone there to decorate the tables with some beautiful greens and white roses that Rob and Negin picked on their own and ordered online along with tons of candles!
While everyone worked on setup and decorations the girls of the two families also had their hair and make-up done (I just did hair).
Besides the table seating cards, the table decorations and the traditional wedding spread there were a few other finishing touches that were set up and decorated to get the club ready for the big event.
The Gift & Card Table...
The Ceremony Order of Service Basket...
A last-minute bouquet for the bride...
The Flower Girl Basket for Olive...
Once all of the decorations were finished we headed back to our hotel to get ourselves and the boys ready for the wedding and then back to the Club for family pictures before the guests started to arrive. As we were pulling into the club's parking lot the wedding cake arrived. When you are 5 and 3 that is probably one of the most exciting parts of the wedding so we had to stay and watch as they unloaded! :P Then we headed back inside to join the rest of the family.

| It is hard to see in this picture, but I like how Negin seems to be working to compose herself as she walks to Rob. <3 |

Most of our time spent before the wedding was waiting with a few pictures in between...

Finally the guests started to arrive and there was a little bit more waiting and mingling before the doors opened up and the ceremony began.
