This year when my parents asked if I had any Christmas ideas for the boys I suggested that they could provide some money to a fun event like a waterpark weekend or something else. They liked the idea as it not only prevented our homes from being filled with more "stuff" but also gave them some special time with their grandsons. So, on Christmas day each of the six boys got a matching set of swim trunks and boxers along with the promise of a waterpark weekend in the near future.
On the weekend of March 24-26 we took them up on the offer and drove up to Sheboygan, Wisconsin where we met my parents (and Aaron & Erika's family the next day) for a fun weekend at Blue Harbor Resort...

We arrived at the resort around 8:00 on Friday night and quickly made ourselves at home in our room which we shared with Grandma and Papa. Before going to bed though, we made sure to try out the room's fireplace and also head down to check out the waterpark with the boys (who were in awe!).

The next morning we enjoyed some lazy time in our room as we waited for the waterpark to open and then we headed downstairs for a day of fun in the water.

 |
| Micah (our oldest nephew) tried some boogie boarding on the wave machine! (Eric tried it too on Sunday but my phone bit the dust that day (for good) and I lost the pictures from that day). |
We played at the waterpark all morning and then headed back to our room for some lunch and naps. After nap time we suited back up and spent a few more hours in the water and enjoyed a pizza dinner before heading back to our rooms for bedtime. It was a great day.

On Sunday, we enjoyed breakfast and a bit of playtime in our room and then we headed back to the pool for a couple of hours before we had to check out and head home.

When our fun at the waterpark was all over, we checked out of our rooms and enjoyed a breakfast buffet as a family. Then after a couple of family pictures, we thanked Grandma and Papa for a wonderful weekend and headed our separate ways. Our boys were asleep before we hit the freeway!
