Florida Getaway 2020: Day 4: Lazy Dazy

Tuesday, February 25th, was our third full day in Florida.  Like the previous days, this day started after a loooong night with our little girl.  She continued to sleep terribly the night before, but at least this time we'd had the boys sleep in Eric's parents' room so we didn't have to worry about her keeping them up too.  After another night with little sleep I was ready to get out of our room by the time the sun was coming up.  Therefore I buckled Hazel into her stroller and the two of us went on an early morning walk together.

FB Post: Even after keeping us up for half the night, I still can’t help but love her #littlemisssunshine #shesluckyshescute #nofilter #floridasunrise#motherdaughterlove @ Pass-A-Grille Beach, Florida

Once we returned to our room, everyone else was up and ready to do something so we went on another walk to search for shells along the beach.

After we got back from walk our the boys were more than ready for another dip in the pool.  Although it was bright and sunny out, there was a cool breeze that made Eric and I perfectly content to simply lay by the pool and watch.  After swimming for a bit, Avery decided to join me and color.

Since Eric and I did not want to go into the pool, baby girl also could not go in...even though she DESPERATELY wanted to.  We quickly realized that just sitting by the pool with our little girl is basically impossible! ;)

When the boys had had their fill (for now) of the pool, we headed out on another family walk around the island.

The boys were excited to find a chameleon!

After we returned from our walk, we packed up some sandwiches, fruit, chips and veggies and headed over to the beach for a family picnic lunch.

After our picnic and some time playing on the beach, the wind had died down and the temperature had risen to a point that we were all ready for another dip in the pool, which is where we spent the remainder of the afternoon.

Finally, as the sun started to make its way down for the day we got cleaned up and headed out for dinner.  Unfortunately, we ended up with a super long wait and by the time we had a table the kids were DONE!  We ate as quickly as we could and then headed straight back to the Keystone to go to bed...another day well done! ;)

Avery, Asher & I walked up a nearby bridge while we waited for our dinner table.

Eric and Hazel waved back at us!
